There is a great environment. The office is very clean and has a great lake view. It has a very peaceful but industrious ambiance. The owner is a straight shooter. No "bull" but still polite. He knows a lot and has a lot of experience. He always taught me all he could. No reservations. The compensation I think it was above average in the local industry. My compensation was higher than others in the industry.
Cons
NONE REALLY. The culture in this company is geared towards the benefit of the borrower / client. The owner seems to think in a long term basis. He believes in benefitting the client, always told us to first look at the benefit a client can get from a program, last in our profit. He has a huge referral business. I really enjoyed working for him. "No bull" type of person but very polite and fair. I always saw him acting with full transparency with me and his clients. He is not too eager to make the company bigger. I think he wants to keep control of quality service and good quality loans. All loan officers there were seasoned in the industry.
