Pros

If dull work gets you down, you will appreciate that there is hardly ever a dull moment. Great supportive team to work with and learn from. The owner, Ben is extremely smart and knowledgeable. As a team we are encouraged to make suggestions about improving processes. He listens to ideas and will take action to get them implemented. Telecommuters are provided with everything needed to work from home. The work-life balance this provides is extremely nice. My supervisor is hands on, knowledgeable, and cares about her team. She is always very understanding and proactive in working around “life” circumstances. Could not ask for better management! The company generously caters lunch bi-weekly during meetings, as well as offers other employee "perks".

Cons

Must be hard working and a team player to enjoy working here.

Pros

Great Office Staff/Environment... Everyone is pleasant and easy to get along with. Ben is quite a character, smart as a whip, driven, always learning, strategizing, encouraging all of us as to be successful in what whatever we do. If we have a suggestion or idea, he is ready to listen and put into action if it works! Sense of humor a must! My Supervisor is hands down the best around. She is always on her game in business and there to pick you up if you are down. Never a shortage of learning something new, additional benefits to your future whether that be in Real Estate, IT or Account Management.

Cons

If you are not a team player and/or scared to ask questions or afraid of hard work, this is not the right fit.

Pros

I am headed into my 4th year here at HomesUSA and I do not see myself leaving this company. I have learned so much about IT and development. It is really cool to have an idea to improve our product, and then get to watch it come to fruition. I really feel like our ideas are valued, if we don't like something or think it can be better we can take it to our team and to Ben and we make it happen. That's the beauty of working for a smaller company where the CEO is right there with you. His open door policy helps to make me feel like my thoughts and onions matter. My manager is the best boss I have ever had, any problem I have ever gone to her for help with, she has helped me come up with ideas for a solution. Hard work pays off at this company.

Cons

If you are not willing to work hard and contribute to a team with creativity, knowledge and passion for what you are doing you might not like it here.

Thank you for this post! The ideas, thoughts, and opinions of all our employees matter. They have added to our company's ability to grow consistently year over year for the last eight years, attain unprecedented industry records for sales, and become one of the top brokerage firms in the US. We have reached these extraordinary heights by leveraging the innovation and creativity of our team members such as yourself. The best ideas for our company and its products have consistently come from our employees and clients, and that is why we actively solicit and welcome your input. You mentioned that you're heading into your 4th year at HomesUSA.com. The median tenure among our current employees is 5.5 years, which is well beyond the national average of 4.2 years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. We believe that the positive, creative, and inclusive environment at our company has enabled us to achieve this excellent employee retention rate.
