Pros

They hire some great employees in the CX team. Pretty much everyone thats in the queues.

Cons

PTO is NOT unlimited. They will micromanage this. You'll feel like you can never take time off. Upper management is toxic and manipulative. They do not take into account YOUR feedback. They have no problems giving you feedback in a condescending tone, however. Will have crippling anxiety everyday trying to meet the requirements of the job. Say "Goodbye" to mental wellness. No opportunities for advancement. They will discourage you from moving from this team. Diversity is non-existent.

I want to thank you for sharing your experience and while this feedback is never easy to hear, please know we are taking the issues you have surfaced seriously. It is unclear how long ago you experienced these issues; however, please know we have made a number of changes recently to ensure our Support team’s continued development and success. In the past year, we have grown the team to ensure there are enough team members to address many of the issues you have raised including ensuring our people have time to focus on their growth and development and utilize their Open PTO while providing top-tier support for our members in a way that feels manageable and fulfilling. We have seen low turnover in the past 18 months and feel this is a strong signal that our Support team is getting the resources and recognition we aim for. Of course, we can always do better. If there is any additional feedback you would like to share, you can reach out to me directly.

Pros

There are some nice people on the IC level. Well meaning but subpar

Cons

Leadership team sets up a cult like atmosphere that condemns anyone that's not ridiculously showing public adoration for the products. I was hired to do a job not worship the leaders or products. They tout a family environment and have weekly meetings where people just gather around and talk about their professional and personal wins. Frankly these meetings become highly uncomfortable and showcase how privileged and disconnected leadership team really is. Leadership generally uses it like their personal therapy session. It's meant to be "safe space", but how is that possible? How's do you bring about work greviances as an IC of your manager and exec are in the same room. Working throughout COVID only highlighted their insensitivity even more. One point after salaries were cut, a Staff was heard complaining to their team about the lack of ability to bring in their maid and nanny. Additionally constantly demanding overtime for low pay and no career opportunities. The company name nor work experience is not worth the paycheck. If you're great at sucking up this place is great. You will be rewarded constantly for mediocre or subpar work. Otherwise if you're an individual with opinions and a tendency for introversion you will be treated like a pariah.

Hi, this is Oz. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. As a leadership team, we are highly committed to making every HoneyBooker’s experience welcoming and a place where differing opinions are encouraged. Additionally, we are always looking for ways to ensure HoneyBookers can share their ideas and concerns in a supportive environment so we can make the changes needed to be even better. It is deeply concerning to me that this was not your experience. We have room for improvement and it sounds like we could learn from your experience. If you can spare a bit more of your time, please reach out to me directly.
