decent pay Build great relationships with individuals gives you a sense of purpose
Cons
Companywide NEVER cares about their employees. This job takes a special kind of person. The company will work you into the ground and will never care about your mental health. There is no work life balance at all, don't ever count on seeing your own family that much. Also depending on the house, you are sent to and if it is a single coverage home, you DO NOT get any breaks of any kind no matter how many hours you work a shift, 8 hours to 24 hours. All your concerns and issues fall on deaf ears, they really don't care about you and will work you to the bone until you break.
