      If you are not in the good old boy group you can not get promoted. They look the other way for favorite employees.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits. Lots of opportunity for paid professional development. Participatory management. Fun work atmosphere.

      Cons

      Low pay. Vaguely defined job roles leads to overwhelming workload. High turnover for part-time support staff leads to lack of coverage, which leads to inability to do job effectively.

      Pros

      Working for Hope House is very rewarding because of the staff's ability to dramatically and positively influence the lives of the people we support. There are many opportunities to have fun at work and if you prove yourself as an ethical worker with integrity, Hope House is more than willing to be flexible with its staff. I have met many wonderful and beautiful people and have created memories that I will not forget. Thank you Hope House!

      Cons

      There does tend to be drama within the team. I advise new staff to not engage in the drama and to focus on the good work.
