      Great company to work for with a forward looking vision

      Pros

      The people. Hornbill has a good collective of talented people. You can always learn something new from them. Great comradery between the teams. Has a good work from home policy. Has an open door policy. If you have something to say you will be listened too. CEO and directors have a pretty clear vision of where they want to take the company and they constantly keep us updated on that vision. CEO is a pleasure to work with and for. Very genuine and has a real passion to see Hornbill and the staff succeed in everything that we do.

      Cons

      Career progression is somewhat limited as its a small company but that is what it is like in smaller companies so hopefully you would know that when getting involved.

      Bad company to work for

      If you are on the good list then you don't have to do any work

      Cons

      Horrible company to work for - Staff are split into two groups. The ring kissers and the ones on the bad list. - Underappreciation of staff that do the work and keep company running - Bad remuneration - No progression - CEO has hand in literally every aspect no matter how small. His way or the highway. Especially if you are a developer. Ps - all the positive reviews here are when the CEO may have ;) made all the staff go onto glassdoor as part of a marketing thing and told them to give positive reviews here (see dates for previous reviews). Then when he was unhappy with the quantity of responses he may have ;) pushed again. (This may be the reason for the two waves of positive reviews)
