Pros

Free Parking & Kitchen goodies.

Cons

Management is weak and operates with a strong blame culture. There is very little trust, and accountability only flows downward. While most employees have hybrid contracts (three days in the office), Account Executives are required to be in the office five days a week. This double standard creates frustration, especially since the Director of Sales rarely comes in and is not available to support the team. When results slip, the blame is placed on AEs instead of leadership taking responsibility or providing guidance. There is no real coaching, no flexibility, and no ownership from management.

Pros

Really liked my experience at Hornetsecurity Montréal. I worked there as a T1 tech support specialist and the team was really great, despite it being small. The managers are also open to feedback and regularly engage with us. Great training. A lot of free parking.

Cons

I would love to see more positions at the company. Most interesting placements are unfortunately at Europe and that can be an obstacle if you’re looking for growth. Only 2 days remote, but that’s okay. Salary is nowhere near the market of Cybersecurity, especially for a North American country.

Pros

- very very good colleagues and work environment - friendly managers - fairly good work/life balance - tech company culture with very little bureaucracy in the dev/support departments - free snacks/fruits in the office!!!

Cons

- salary is significantly weaker than the region's average, especially considering the type of crucial and niche support we provide - not much tech opportunities outside the basic service desk positions in any office outside Europe, hopefully more to come in the future with the latest acquisitions and partnerships in North. America - progression between adjacent levels can be very slow in terms of internal position growth, especially for a country like Canada
