      Pros

      This is the overall best job Ive ever had. The patient load allows you to be the nurse you always wanted to be. The team work is way above expectations. Very positive work environment. You get to make your schedule.

      Cons

      Sometimes you're quite busy. But at times im in a pinch you just reach out and someone will help.

      The work is rewarding. The families are great to work with

      To many unnecessary meetings, Very discombobulated admin. They over load the team nurses and then underutilize prn staff. Team nurses often have to short change the patient in order to keep up with requirements. There is way to much on call because they don’t want to pay someone for a full shift. Managers do not listen to nurses and make things way more difficult then they need to be. Communication is non existent

      Educating patients and families on hospice and how end of life care is managed.

      Cons

      Leadership does not support staff and many in their roles have not done the job they are supervising. If you speak up a target is on your back.
