Pros

- low stress work environment - unlimited PTO - remote work

Cons

the work is EXTREMELY boring and mundane. if you're looking to be engaged in your work and company culture, this is not the place. everyone including management seems completely checked out. it's ironic that they try and position themselves as internal communications experts while having little to no communication with their own staff. the writing is on the wall--people on every level leaving the agency like rapid fire, business extremely slow, salaries being cut, yet leadership keeps up the same narrative that everything is fine. upper-level management pushing all the work onto junior-level roles, showing up late to meetings, missing deadlines but holding junior-level staff members to a different standard.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. While we don’t agree with what you wrote, we appreciate your viewpoint and are sorry that you had this experience. If you speak to any of our employees, we feel they would reinforce the opposite of your experience. We have a really interesting mix of accounts and client work that both energizes and challenges our team. Additionally, we continue to add new clients each month that offer much of the same. We are dedicated to a caring and open environment. We hold teams and individuals accountable and value growth, learning, and providing top service and excellent work for our clients. We believe in one-on-one communication, mentoring, and engaging with everyone who works within the company – all of which create a strong, cohesive team and culture. This ethos continues to drive us at Hot Paper Lantern.
