Pros

used to have amazing perks, health care benefits, transparent company culture, high morale, worker-centered work place, remote

Cons

new leadership with the acquisition of Contentsquare and Heap is doing away with the once awesome culture, introducing rounds of layoffs and cutting benefits of Hotjar employees by 15k while pretending that it's not happening, cold, vapid culture, fixated on the bottom line with a money-first approach, giving people more responsibility with no pay increase, stalling merit-based pay increases, stifling the atmosphere of open dialogue

Pros

None. All the great stuff has been removed by Contentsquare at this point.

Cons

- Being part of a big corporate company - The great culture and transparency are gone - Treated as kids - They thank you for your flexibility, when they actually force you

Pros

Formerly an outstanding workplace with unparalleled perks and a humane approach, it valued autonomy and fostered transparent communication, even at the executive level.

Cons

Now, under the umbrella of a corporate behemoth, the company's once sterling reputation as an employer is at risk. The perks, worth nearly €10k annually, have been dismantled without any compensation adjustments. Promotions and raises have been frozen during the merger, causing disillusionment among the staff, especially as trusted senior executives either depart or align themselves with the new corporate rhetoric. The rapid decline is evident, with instances of misogyny and racism excused under the guise of cultural adaptation. Transparency has been replaced with corporate jargon, stifling open dialogue and leaving employees fearful of repercussions. Layoffs, while occurring, are executed without regard for the human element, leaving colleagues abruptly vanishing from ongoing conversations. The company's former ethos of respect in the workplace has been discarded.
