Pros

The only pro for working with this company was the close proximity to my home.

Cons

The office is old and rundown; roof leaks and smells of mold. To make matters worse, the pay is below average for this type of position. Base salary is 50% of the norm. Working for this company is like taking a step backwards.

Pros

Writing for a community paper and managing it can be a lot of fun. The communities are great and a wonderful chance for cub reporters to get experience.

Cons

Overall company management is lacking when it comes to resources to make the vision happen. Also, furloughs as a way to keep things on the up and up destroys work morale.
