I have lived my whole life around central Vermont and have always heard great things about Hubbardton Forge. I was very excited when I received a phone call for a position there, little did I know that was honestly the worst mistake I have ever made. I have been employed through them now for 10 months and not one day goes by that I do not regret leaving my other job for this company that lies to customers and employees about everything. There is only a hand full of products that are actually hand forged here. Yes that is correct they purchase everything else from China and Canada. If you have the ability to except that they are going to treat and tell you that you are a sub par employee by all means apply online. Over the past 10 months I have seen several people leave the company in my department alone. Recently Hubbardton Forge told us we are to be sold this year and that we need to have the best year in order to mask how crappy the past 6 years have been. Bottom line the only reason they on a hiring spree is because they allowed them selves to back log 1 million dollars in orders and now don't have the personnel to complete orders.

bank owned, doesnt care for employee wellbeing, production goal bonuses were "temporarily" cut. a year and a half ago. physically demanding work for peanuts pay. some good team leaders, but the vp of hr would rather fire than counsel.
