Reorganization has been the name of the game for several years. This has been at the both corporate level and the local level. Few jobs anywhere are 100% secure, but it was to the point that employees almost always shutter when a all-hands meetings are called.
At least two other people mentioned that Management is chaotic, and I agree. Unorganized, cross-management is the norm. Their way of producing maximum workflow is to set unattainable goals, and this results in continuous frustration from the worker’s point of view. Worst of all, if for some reason one disagrees with Management even in the slightest - or if they are disliked by management in the slightest - they are slowly phased out and/or blackballed and forced to quit. And as others have mentioned, turnover is exceptionally high.
