Terrible place to work

Pros

Benefits are okay, time off is great

Cons

Hudson has become a sad place to work, over the past 6 years there have been 4 management teams, the comoany has been boutique out 3 times and each time they hire highly paid employees with titles they don't deserve and promote those who have no knowledge of the business. Running this company is very easy, you pay your worker bees just a bit more and treat the like humans and you get rid of the "managers" who show up to work late, get drunk at company events, belittle employees, and have no idea how to do their work!

Pros

I loved Hudson Jeans before I worked there. The company seems to be growing quickly. They are willing to spend money on initiatives and promotions to add value to the brand

Cons

There is a total lack of respect for the employees and the CEO is completely disconnected with the actual reality of the company culture. The atmosphere is extremely negative and canabalistic

Toxic Environment

Pros

There aren't too many pros.

Cons

The company culture is beyond toxic. Everyone there has been working with the company for 2+ years so it can be very clique-y. Upper management has no connection to reality, promises everything to employees and vendors and nothing comes to fruition. Time management is horrible too, they will stroll in around noon and be upset that employees who show up at 9 leave at 6. There is no formal on-boarding process, you're not told of any benefits and HR is of no help with that either. They hardly approve vacation and will try to get you to shorten it or change it around. CEO is great, but is more focused on keeping up a "fun" persona that he doesn't actually do a deep dive into the culture and try to improve it.
