Fundamentally flawed concept and dysfunctional

Pros
Small class sizes, value outdoor time, "progressive values."
Cons
The school is presented on paper as being for gifted in talented students but it's actually a funnel for students who are struggling in other places (more than likely special ed but Hudson has no special education or investment in special ed). They do well at Hudson because the standards are less rigorous and teachers function more as well paid nanny's (mores in the middle school). Of course your child is thriving; they're not being asked to do much.

There is a mindful approach to kids using tech and students get to spend time outside.
Cons
Not beholden to standardized testing and students struggle with fundamentals with zero intervention.
