Pros

-Kind, hardworking teammates -Free food

Cons

-Focus was never on the consumer or actually doing something positive; it was about making money at any cost (i.e. tricking people into receiving food they don't want, pushing ads spouting toxic diet culture messages about weight loss, etc.) -Unhealthy startup Kool-Aid culture of constant work and higher and higher expectations with promise of "changing the world," all designed to make employees do as much work for as little pay as possible -Boy's club mentality among leadership, with very little diversity -CEO has very little understanding or knowledge of certain parts of the business, yet refuses to listen to function leads -Witnessed leadership exhibiting demeaning behavior towards more junior team members -HR asks employees to submit Glassdoor reviews and follows up until positive review is written

Messy and chaotic

Pros

Benefits and grocery credits are nice

Cons

Negative and honest reviews have been flagged for removal recently. Too many egos allowed to run rampant. Double standards and favoritism are prevalent. Unchecked racism, sexism, and discrimination. If you care about your mental health, run away from here.

Pros

Grocery credit, some legitimately smart and kind people

Cons

-constantly changing vision from above -just let go 15% of staff (25 people), including some of the only real adults at the company -layoffs targeted those who ask smart questions and rewarded team members who blindly follow the poor leadership -84% of those laid off are women -little room for vertical growth, especially for non-digital team roles -false promises for future promotions and comp increases -no 401K match
