Pros

I honestly don't think there is any pros.

Cons

The hiring of management is a mystery to most, but generally as long as they have no management experience and they are happy to say 'Yes', no matter how ethically wrong the matter is and how badly it impacts their team members,, then they are promoted to manage teams..... well if you can call it managing? Impossible to understand why any reputable organisation would choose to allow Huntswood to manage any project, without losing credibility and reputation. The attrition rate is ridiculously high, each day they are advertising for more and more case handlers, due to more people, who refuse to be treated so appallingly. If you are prepared to work many more hours than your contract, and still don't get paid for a full week.... If you enjoy being managed by unprofessional, 'yes' people, then great.... your type of company.

Pros

None to mention. It really is not a healthy place to work in Reading. Some of the people are nice at floor level.

Cons

This is the most awful place I have ever worked. Poor Operations Managers who are seriously lacking talent and professionalism . Team Leaders Who are nodding dogs. Can’t get into QC unless you’re friends or favourites with the Senior Managers. Promotion is through Who you know or suck up to. No wonder why so many leave. Sinking ship. Treated like school children and Senior Managers are full of self importance. My quality was 100% but still could never get to QC. 3 years of torment.

Pros

None apart from I met some very nice contractors, whom all have now left Huntswood due to it being so poorly run.

Cons

This company are unprofessional and unfair. They treat workers like slaves, not people and expect them to be miracle workers to fix their mistakes. I must stress that I was a contractor working on the PPI Project at the Reading branch of Huntswood, I did not work for Huntswood as one of their staff. ALL the positive reviews on this site are from people that work directly for Huntswood, who are an a recruitment/consultant agency. Huntswood however, did hire me for this PPI job, and they lied about what the role was going to be, hiring me for one role then sticking me in a totally different role and they have this three month claw back fee which means if you leave early they take half your wages. Another point to make is that if you do not reach your daily target (yes, this is a targeted job, that is very difficult to achieve) you will NOT be paid. So if, for example, you have a really difficult case that you have opened that day and cannot close through no fault of your own you will NOT BE PAID. I found this completely ridiculous and truly unprofessional I really regret ever working for this company and would advise people avoid putting themselves through this kind of stress. Its really not worth it.
