      What a Cluster...

      Pros

      Cool aircraft but cost is 3x's of the competition. Clean (but mostly empty factory).

      Cons

      Does 11 years in business and 40+/- planes built still qualify as a "start-up"? High turnover, over promise and under deliver. They seem to burn through $$$ like crazy! When will the investors start wanting returns, especially after 11 years? Insane ego's from top management...almost laughable! Should be an SNL skit

      Falling down a rabbit hole...

      Pros

      The environment can draw in with catchy slogans and sales pitches. All the new shiny things can distract for a while. Unique blend of backgrounds.

      Cons

      The company has no direction. Business plans and company structures and initiatives are abandoned randomly. Weird competition to get to the top of a ladder that leads no where. Ridiculous expectations of work force with no recognition from top management of who is doing the real work. Hopelessly flawed supply chain and engineering processes that will only lead to financial loss or worse. Company culture and image may contribute to incidents of customer misuse of aircraft.

      With new leadership in place, ICON Aircraft has clear direction and plans. No, it's not easy and employment comes with many challenges, but you are surrounded by an amazing team of dedicated employees all battling together.

      Cool company, poor decisions and leadership

      Pros

      Cool to be part of an attempt to change aviation. At times, fun work environment of you just stay out of anyone in leadership's way.

      Cons

      Too many to list honestly. They blame a "startup" mentality on the fact they continue to not listen to people who have actually done this stuff before. They genuinely think they know better than everyone else. Twisted work environment, cross the wrong old timer when you voice differing opinions or experience, you're shunned and over time find you're put on the shelve...nobody wants to really hear the truth. Cost to build is 2x the sales price, good luck ever digging out of that hole. I'd encourage you to reach out to the mass of former employees if you're interested in the real story.
