Pros

Intelligent, hardworking, and passionate former coworkers. Truly a great team to work with.

Cons

Agree with all the recent one-star reviews. It's very sad that Nick is writing his own five-star reviews and paying former employees to take down their one-star reviews. About seven have been removed in the past week. I'd recommend he partake in some serious self-reflection instead of placing blame on others and ignoring the core issue (himself). Nobody forced Nick to display such condescending, insulting, and devious behavior.

Toxic. HR girl is clueless. Favoritism Is rampant. Run away if offered a position Friendly at first and then pow. You are toast to the contacting person and their Hr Person. The squad is in full force

Pros

Very little, if anything. Some good coworkers, though there are clear favorites amongst management.

Cons

Dictator-style micromanagement. The hours you are expected to work (sometimes 80+ per week) and the amount of work you are expected to complete is not realistic in the timeframes they give you. Extremely negative and toxic environment particularly in Finance & Accounting—no one is encouraged to grow in their position or promoted within the department. Countless meetings (easily 25 hours every week), most of which are extremely hostile or accomplish nothing. Tasks are assigned in advance for every single day, week, and month without any discussion of the full scope of work activities. You will be asked to provide status updates on these tasks multiple times every day by multiple managers until they are completed. Don’t miss a deadline, it will be included in your performance review (we are reminded of that every week when we are given our tasks).

Thank you for your feedback, we value and appreciate your voice. Each employee is, and always has been, encouraged to communicate with their supervisor if there are any concerns about workload or meeting deadlines. Once IDS was made aware of these concerns, we surveyed the Finance and Accounting team, all of which reported feeling supported by their managers and the department head and are comfortable raising any issues or concerns. IDS budgets for professional development, both at a corporate and department level. Employees are encouraged to seek out and take advantage of training opportunities. IDS’s training portal provides content on a variety of topics in different formats, many on-demand so employees can advance their skills when it makes sense for them. IDS supports the professional development of all employees, empowering everyone to lead their individual professional paths. Please contact HR or senior management if you would like to discuss further, so that we are able to directly address concerns.
