I was warned by my bosses employee that this company was having a LOT of recent and aburpt layoffs but I truly was blindsided by the company culture I was walking into that was just a bunch of smoke in mirrors. Upon my 2 week duration at the company I was hired by Albert Hahn & Lena Song, who told me there was barely any budget for the position but wanted to hire me anyways. During this 2 week period I went to various retail stores and particpiated in hands on training in which I received EXCELLENT feedback, I even stayed until 11:50pm to help find $150 dollars missing from the store. I was told to come into work at 11am the following Monday and was met by my boss and HR informing me of my termination which was due to "job performance". Taken aback due to steller job performance I asked them to elaborate on the shocking information I had just been told-- they couldnt. According to them I was to reach out to HR which I did immediatley afterwards and STILL couldnt get a definitive answer. This company's mantra is 'grow's and glows' meaning they value feedback, yet I've received NO feedback on how to enhance my "job performance" being that this was the reason of termination; furthermore I was only at the company for TWO weeks, what performance did I even get to showcase yet? Worst job experience ever. 10/10 wouldnt recommend, run not walk to a more established company.

Progress within the company is not based on your ability to perform your work well. They have a bullying culture that you have to put up with and play a part in or you will be bullied out and fired without notice. They still run like 2000's illegal weed shop mentality. I feel bad for women who are constantly harassed and bullied and need to be submissive to survive the environment. There are multiple senior managers at every level and in every department, who will play favorites and the irregular pay scale shows just that. If your quiet and don't complain or stand up for yourself or others, stay here for a few years and you will make money. But leave your integrity and actual knowledge of industry behind, be a follower of the kids who famed their way up but don't know what they're talking about at all and who have so many compliance and human rights violations.
