      Pros

      Family oriented organization, market servicing is mature, solid product offering, pay a fair salary for the area, open with the employees on the state of the business

      Cons

      Not as much of an open door environment as they believe they are. Was becoming more of a follow the chain of command organization.

      There are none currently, and it's actually getting worse.

      Cons

      Management is atrocious.They actively hinder your job, don't hide their distaste for employees the pay rate doesn't even begin to match cost of living.

      A Terrific Culture and Company with Great Opportunity

      Pros

      IIMAK is a great place to work, contribute, and build your career. Leadership is open to listening to ideas and is willing to drive change. The company, up to the CEO level, is leading what they are calling a "Challenge Culture" and I see improvements in many areas. It is perfectly acceptable to challenge the status quo and to make improvements to your work. People have a shared respect for one another and genuinely enjoy working together. There is also a good deal of recognition including Kudos awards, summer picnics, year-end parties, mini quarterly events, generous gift cards during the holidays, celebrations for safety awards, and more. When good things happen, it is recognized and celebrated. Pay and benefits are also very good. The 401(k) is excellent. We have a really great on-site gym that is stacked with equipment which you can use 24/7.

      Cons

      Some parts of the building are old and tired and require added updates or investments.
