      Comfortable But Uninspired

      Pros

      Good program for advancing intern architects through registration. Reasonably good compensation and benefits. Convenient downtown location. Some limited opportunity for outside training. Reasonable home/work balance.

      Cons

      Poor growth potential for those seeking to grow as architects. Tired, uninspired physical environment. Leadership lacks vision and understanding, and this is reflected in project outcomes. IKM is strictly a service firm. Not only is big "A" architecture not an aspiration, it is a totally foreign concept.

      Well, they will hire you

      Cons

      They will let you go not long after. They don’t reward loyalty. 18 people let go in the matter of 3 years isn’t good business practice.
