Pros

Strong values-driven culture, invested and responsive leadership, and employees are committed to their work and social and environmental justice. ILLUME is dedicated to finding and listening to the voices of underserved people and communities. Multidisciplinary experts and PhDs in the social sciences (anthropology, linguistics, behavioral economics), energy and environment, public policy, and engineering. Very rigorous approach to research (leaders in emerging research methods). Nurture long-term client relationships, striving for partnerships. Opportunities for technical and managerial growth across the organization. Many people contribute to business development. Flexible working schedule with many work-from-home parents. Staff across three time zones. No questions or guilt about making your own schedule/hours.

Cons

Hard to say since I've been here awhile! With many "founding" employees (a good thing!), ILLUME has probably developed its own unique culture that benefits from an infusion of new staff/perspectives - Join us!
