Pros

As an organization IMPACT is not afraid to do hard things to make things better for the families served. In the past few years IMPACT took on several new programs that made a huge difference to people in the community even though there was a lot of work needed to get them running. IMPACT embraces change and things change at IMPACT frequently. The organization does not keep doing things that aren't working just because that's the way it's always been done. IMPACT always tries to do what is right for the staff. This isn't always possible and sometimes the org gets it wrong, but I have always found the leaders of the organization to be willing to be honest with staff about these things. This is by far the best place I have worked.

Cons

As with many organizations in the non-profit world funding is not as consistent as would be ideal, which can result in positions disappearing when the funding comes to an end. This means the organization sometimes loses great people. Not a good fit for people who are uncomfortable with change.
