Pros

IMPACT Marketing doesn’t just feel like one big family—they truly value your family. I’ve never had a job that’s so understanding when it comes to prioritizing your home life. They’ve genuinely fostered a “family first” culture. Duane, the owner, is not only incredibly caring and considerate, but he sets the tone for the entire team. Everyone here is willing to lend a hand, support one another, and work collaboratively. We operate with a strong sense of trust and unity, and it’s very much a “one team, one dream” mentality.

Cons

No cons. IMPACT is truly the best place to work.

Pros

a few people who are employees are nice people being taken advantage of.

Cons

When you're told to "be serious" and work without a sense of humor or have any type of personality that doesn't fit some mode of insecurity from the owner. Backstory: Meeting with an old friend and possible new client, we would joke around a bit and share past fun stories. For most, this is normal and a good thing. For the insecure, not so much... I was berated for hours; and why; because I was good at my job. The owner/CEO is insecure, so he famously shoots down anything that puts him on the back burner of a conversation, like when he would try to take credit for someone else's hard work. It's truly bizarre, and even funnier; after being scolded, this guy shows up to his meeting in a gorilla mask, dancing like a fool. This is okay i guess, but when others have fun with friends; an issue. It's the definition of hypocrisy.

Pros

If you actively avoid enrichment in both life and the workplace, then this is the perfect company for you.

Cons

I really gotta hand it to them--they have somehow mastered being constantly over your shoulder and aloof at the same time. How? Well, despite talking a big game during the interview about equipping its staff with resources to succeed, Day One of the job demonstrated that they had no intention of keeping their word. If they don't offer direction, you'd think they'd be patient with staff as they get acclimated, but no; They are micromanagers who expect you to "just do the job" with minimal training, and without offering adequate context into the assignment, or the client that a staffer would be working with. The owner of business seems singularly focused on the "bottom-line" of attracting/retaining clients, and that's basically it. The cherry on top is his uncomfortable flaunting of his staunchly conservative views in the office, every chance he gets.
