Pros

Inscale is an insourcing company, meaning that they help clients to set up their development centre in KL. Which means you will be working for the client but be employee of Inscale. This is fine because Inscale as a whole is very good company. Following are some of the pros: Great work-life balance. Salary is good. Colleagues are nice and friendly. Office space is modern and nice. Location is awesome. HR team is fantastic and very helpful.

Cons

Since Inscale does not have full power over their employees (because employees work for clients and few clients are really bad) During my stay in Inscale, I worked under SEB project which had around 12 team members (which is one of the worst teams to be on. Other bad team being the mainframes team), I witnessed 4 colleagues of mine being fired. And the firing of employees happens a lot here. Especially in SEB, the management from local team lead and the Latvian team members were very poor. There seems to be politics played by Latvian colleagues when they don't like someone in KL. If Latvian colleagues don't like any KL colleagues then they will make sure that they are fired by giving some or the other reasons. This is the major issue, that employees are never safe and can be fired anytime even if they have performed well. second issue is that employees in KL are like the support team for the Latvian developers. Meaning that all decisions about the project are taken by developers in Latvia and KL just has to do the task which is given to them. KL team does not have the powers to questions or argue or decide on an approach on their own. This is basically a support team which is made feel like a development team.

Pros

This workplace is great for QA professionals because the relationship with developers is healthy. If you have ambition and a clear career path, you can definitely achieve what you want here.

Cons

Moving from mid-level to senior level is nearly impossible due to budget constraints and a KPI system designed only to meet expectations. Soon you'll notice that your value is indistinguishable from someone who only delivers the bare minimum—the only difference is that you’ll be assigned more work. To put it commonly, there is a reason why in a past 12 months, there are more than 10 developers resigned. This is the chain effects of the client company restructuring their management. When the budget is reduced, The PO is focusing on delivery (advice people to take OT and track your working hours) meanwhile the bottom level employer receives more work but without much appreciation. (Most of the team member only received 0~5% increment last year, 5% is already considered rare and lucky!)

Pros

- The colleagues here are the best people I have ever worked with. But management? It is the worst.

Cons

- Management is going through some restructuring but that somehow introduced a toxic working environment. - Very controlling and power abusing manager. - Employees are not appreciated and incentives are minimum while stress are applied to the maximum due to multiple urgent projects.
