Pros

This is a strange place!! Really, because it is full of loopholes .... so let me start with pros: 1. Product dominates the market 2. Few really hard working and easy going co-workers. 3. Management understands and is proactively influencing the domain and market is locked. They know their business.

Cons

1. While the management has great grip on domain and the market, they are old style and rely on hire and fire policy. You are expected to deliver in very short span of time. 2. Management is very immature in terms of dealing with any criticism or expectation management. They will ask you to get to moon but pay you bart fair to the next bart stop. 3. Management again fails on treating people fair, which keeps people under constant fear of losing their jobs. The attrition rate has been insane over the last year. 4. HR is absolute rubbish. Mere mouthpiece of the management. I am really amazed on how some individuals have kept their positions. 5. Everyone knows whom not to mess with in the company even when you are on the right side for the company and the business. 6. Recently the management hired a new VP in the hope to revive the company. This backfired. Not only did a lot of loyal hard working individuals leave the workplace but this downgraded the whole work environment.

Pros

1. When too many people leave suddenly, you get good hikes. 2. You don't have to think too much on code, its all Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V. 3. Leaves - You end up working on lot of weekends (though you get to know about them on Fridays) and so you get some compensatory off days. 4. You can survive without performing!

Cons

1. Late night work (Requirements change only a day or two before the releases) 2. No cabs back to home if you are working late night. 3. For girls, after 8pm you have to sign a declaration before leaving the office premises that says "If anything happens to me, company is not responsible". 4. According to Product Management, coding is not complicated unless you are sending a man to Mars. 5. One womanizer on the floor. Highly partial to only those who "pleases" him as he asks a lot for "favors". If you say no, you will have tough time working. 6. We're in 2020 and most of the code is in VB.NET Worst part is all the hikes and annual bonuses (part of salary) are deferred indefinitely (due to business loss during the pandemic) and people are being laid off/leaving the company. To all the freshers, you would have been given a lot of false hopes but now you know the reality and job security. If you get to stay, expect to work >60 hours a week (INCLUDING weekends) and learn absolutely nothing. Management has proposed employees to accept a contract of staying with the company for an year as a compensation for additional monitor/screen (to work better from home). The ones who do not sign up for a monitor will be tagged as "likely to leave" and may get fired too.
