      Stagnant, heavy bureaucracy and a complete waste for people just starting out

      Pros

      -> Excellent benefits for CDI and fixed-term employees -> Well stocked office -> Comfortable hours -> Excellent cafeteria -> Coffee machines are great

      Cons

      -> Frustrating bureaucracy -> Nothing ever gets done on time -> Very top heavy organization -> Inefficient to the point of risking sinking into obsolescence -> Partial to donors and stronger member countries -> Its just a sad mess of an organization running on fumes and name recognition

      Great organisation that requires a global view to risk, public safety and law enforcement

      Pros

      Very diverse organisation professionally and culturally working across 190 countries. In our Asian regional office we support 39 countries through investigation support, communication, intelligence analysis and continuous improvement in security, risk and enforcement management. I am responsible for providing training to law enforcement, intelligence analysis covering a range of topics including terorrism, foreign fighters, major organised crime, financial crime, crimes against children, and narcotics trafficking.

      Cons

      There are many opportunities but they require you to have initiative and to be a self starter that is willing to demonstrate leadership qualities. With these qualities you will really gain the benefit of having exposure to very wide variety of cultures, organisations, management levels, and projects.
