Pros

They hire awesome people, but when it comes to the owners (who are husband and wife) they have favorites, and if you aren't one, may as well quit right away. They do pay well (prior to covid salary cuts) but I can tell you it's not worth it.

Cons

The owners are bullies. The CEO/Head of INVNT Group (or whatever the stupid rebranding they have done to try distract you from what's actually going on) Scott Cullather is a New York brat. His wife Kristina the now CEO formerly COO is a woman hater and makes sure that you know that she is the one who will make or break you. No doubt she knows what she's doing but she is a horrible human being and everyone is scared of her which says a lot about her personality. Together this duo have huge egos - if you quit, they shun you as you have instantly damaged their precious egos and cannot handle that you are moving on to better things and greater places where people appreciate you. The fact that numerous employees quit during a pandemic says a lot about a company. Highly toxic, even when people are working from home.

Pros

Their Mantra 'Challenge Everything' is no joke. It was challenging, but for all the wrong reasons. Why is this a pro? My experience at INVNT has giving me so much appreciation for my current job. Let me explain: 1. It was sink or swim. There was no training. You need to rely on yourself to learn on the job. It's incredibly stressful, especially considering you'll be thrown under the bus when you inevitably make a mistake. (My advice: be fair to yourself that you're doing the best you can with the information you have.) Why is this a pro? I appreciate my new job where it's organized, there is clear documentation, training and support. I appreciate being set-up for success. Without my experience at INVNT, I may have taken this for granted. 2. Great place to nurture big egos. Case in point: refer to the review "Not a job, a Lifestyle". If this review makes you giddy with excitement, then this is the place for you. Enjoy. 3. Party Central. Alcohol and Drugs galore! Not a job, a lifestyle. Exactly right. 4. Enjoy reading headlines to see what crazy thing Trump says or does everyday? Get a double dose with INVNT leadership. It's known for outrageous, neurotic, middle of the night emails from the CEO (the fear of checking the inbox was real, but at least it gave us something to speculate about with our peers '...so, what was that about? Is he ok??'), and another leader publicly roasting everyone, including minorities (I'm 100% serious). It was incredibly stressful & morale crippling. Why is it a pro then? I'm enjoying my zen in my new workplace where everyone treats eachother with respect. I do not take this for granted because of my experience at INVNT. I truly appreciate this life lesson.

Cons

The con here, is that INVNT is a con. Take the 'Not a job, it's a lifestyle' post for example. It's an attempt to lure in new talent by selling an image, or their "brand". It's what they do as a brand communications agency. I read through the reviews and I think, these are definitely intentional to cover up the negative reviews. Thought I'd provide another honest review in for good measure.

Pros

If you’re female and extra-friendly you have a chance to survive. Just ask former employees. They will all tell you the same.

Cons

I’ve been at interviews where creative directors talk about a woman’s looks more than their qualifications. It’s absolutely repulsive. If you want to protect yourself, secretly record all interactions. You won’t regret it.
