      Pros

      Open and collaborative culture promotes creativity and innovation. Everyone is encouraged to share their ideas and feedback. Diverse team. Very tech-oriented company. Highly skilled and smart colleagues create an environment where learning and development are continuous.

      Cons

      One of the drawbacks is the requirement to work in the office. The lack of flexibility for remote work can be challenging.

      Great place to be a developer

      Pros

      The company is structured into smaller business units that are expected to "build it/run it" which allows for a tight feedback loop within each team & reduces some of the barriers to building & deploying. There are existing libraries/applications that can be re-used but generally teams are able to operate autonomously to build trading/risk/analytics etc systems that are required for their area of the business. There is very little turnover in the development teams & lots of growth over the past couple of years.

      Cons

      When on-call you can be contacted at 3am for production issues & will be expected to get up to speed with the problem quickly, possibly having to contact other internal teams or external brokers.
