Lots of work for low pay

Pros

Fun environment. Decent training to show you how to coach their way.

Cons

No boundaries. They will call/text at all times of day. You also don’t get paid for all of your hours. You have to be in the facility 30 min before a session, unpaid. And stay after to mop and clean. Unpaid. Members are fun to interact with but as a coach you’re also expected to do a sales pitch.

Pros

- GREAT co-workers. If you all like fitness and having that in common really helps - Management cares about you, a lot - Monthly meetings are really great to reconnect with the team - Learn a lot! - Great atmosphere that influenced me on my day-to-day life - Very helpful to those new to sales - Depending on the person, this can be a pro OR con but you always have something you can do. This job is NOT for people who like to do the bare minimum. You would not be right for the team. Great for keeping yourself moving, productive, and let time fly by - Opportunity to connect with members/people because you really are more than just a front desk person (: - You will break out your comfort zone and THATS A GREAT THING! - Supportive managers and rewards you when doing well - Free $160 monthly membership to train with coaches pushing you to be your best self AND making sure your form is safe and that you are handling the weight they know you can - I feel like i could list more pros but all in all, this job gave me a sense of purpose beyond myself and belonging that no other job has done for me. I felt like i fit-in which is something that i rarely say

Cons

- Nobody knows who you are in Florida so selling won’t be as easy - Part-time is not legally required to have a meal break (Florida) so bring snacks or drinking lots of water helps
