Pros

Applying for a job at IT Convergence is like applying for a PR/Citizenship in North Korea!!

Cons

Careful guys... It's a trap - 3 MONTHS NOTICE PERIOD, could get extended to 6 without prior notice with the Titanic sinking Gave more than half a decade of my life (6) to this org, 4.5 where pretty good (only complain was delay in appraisal n hike process) but in last 1.5 yrs, boy it's a completely different story all together Con's & Pro's Cons first coz even if u join without knowing Pros you are still safe People management here is pathetic, they don't really care about their employees. There's a dictatorship here where one-person (VP) hails supreme, he can recruit n FIRE anyone any moment, your life here is at his sole mercy. The average hikes given is 5% unless you are playing a crucial role on a crucial project then you can blackmail them Hiring & Firing happens, on a daily base & it completely depends on how good you are waging your tail in front of the dictator 1st employee of ITC who worked for 7yrs got a call one afternoon to meet the HR. While he entered office and tried to log into his computer, he came to know his credentials were removed and he was fired, just like that and that was his last day You must sign a bond of 4.5k, if you need a headset for your regular meetings (just in case u damage the headset just out of sheer frustration of working here) & people using laptops won't get a mouse as your laptops have got mouse pad. What about HR, well we do have one whose whole n sole purpose is to move her head in vertical direction in front of VP and in horizontal direction in front of rest of the organization That's coz the senior HR was fired and the current one joined as a fresher and knows nothing but to save her job Pro's If you are lucky and in good book of your manager who in turn is in good books of the VP, you are safe and got a few years in ITC For all those Daredevil who still wanna take chance... Applying for a job at IT Convergence is like applying for a PR/Citizenship in North Korea!! Still wanna do it, go ahead, Kim is waiting for you

Pros and cons depending on what you are looking for..

Pros

If you are a junior employee or a recent graduate, ITC is a great company to start your career and get some experience under your belt. You will be required to familiarize yourself with Oracle technology very quickly and, yes, they will want you billable as soon as possible, with little or no training from their side. But if you are really technology savvy and have a thick skin to make mistakes in front of clients for your first couple of assignments you'll be able to quickly gain experience and be exposed to opportunities you wouldn't have with another employer.

Cons

If you are a senior professional, I'm not sure this is a good company to work for. Salaries are usually static, and you'll be responsible for hiring people on a minimum budget, leaving you with a mostly junior or underskilled team. And yes, you'll be held accountable for their mistakes due to inexperience. Infrastructure is not the best either. Most managers (middle and senior) are stressed out and overworked. Forget about any life-work balance here. You'll be expected to work very long hours. You may be better off developing a manager career somewhere else. Disclaimer: I only worked with ITC USA subsidiaries. This review applies only to this region.

Pros

> Strange thing is they fire people much before they join. So if you get an offer and you are all set to join, it may so happen that just couple of days before you will get a call and you will be asked not to come. > This is positive, as you can opt for the next best opportunity or get a better offer as you almost have no notice period left > Company has good policies - Actually there are none, no policy no problem, only situation will govern what is right

Cons

> Was offered to join, in two weeks of time, I was called into a conference room and asked to leave. > Although this did not give me good insight about the company, the facts came into light a) The financial status of the company is no good for a long time now b) Lot of people were fired without no apparent reason c) No Projects, not even a pipe line d) No discipline in managers e) No one works for the good of the company, everyone is keen on doing good to themselves > Seriously consider, till the day you actually join you may be fired. In few weeks of you joining, you may be fired. > Even if you work for good three years, you may be fired all for the same reasons - COMPANY does not have any MONEY.
