- No career development
- Toxicity from leadership
- Extremely poor pay
- No support when teams change
- Disappearing managers
- Freedom and flexibility gradually being taken away
- Huge turnover
It doesn't matter how much value you deliver, you will be ignored by leadership and shouted down to. All that matters is the number at the end of the week. There's no investment into people. They're continuing to expand on responsibilities, but don't match it with appropriate renumeration. You're paid in "development" and "exposure" to areas that have nothing to do with your role or career objectives and all it does is mask major resource issues. Great for prepping you for your next role, awful for retaining you. They'll sell you a good story when you start, all punctuated with 'it's a growing, fast paced business with loads of opportunity' but it masks chaos, internal miscommunication, a disjointed leadership, toxic culture, and constant change. People are hired just to be made redundant a year later.
The business is unrecognisable from a few years ago.
