Pros

- Decent commission structure - The experienced sales reps are good at their job and are always willing to help out - Work from home up to 3 days/week if you earn commission checks continually - Write your own purchase orders. - Everyone seems to agree on ongoing issues created from the top down.

Cons

- Benefits are embarrassing and change constantly - Ridiculous health insurance premiums and outrageous deductible - No 401k matching or employer contributions - Favoritism runs rampant - Have to claim/file for all of your own spiffs - If your client uses a credit card, the 3% processing fee comes out of your commission check...seriously. - Expense reimbursement (client dinners/lunches, events, gas, etc) comes out of your monthly profit. Yes, seriously. - You get nickle and dimed for everything here. Ownership will cut corners anywhere they can so they can keep filling up the company cars gas tank (Bentley Continental GT) and fatten their wallets. - No consistency in company policy - It's a small company so don't think you can move up the totem pole. There isn't one. - The heat is on in the summer and the AC is on in the winter. Seriously. - It's a revolving door. Engineers stay for about 1-2 years and move on (low pay). This hurts relationships with clients and really annoys them. If you're new to the industry, try getting a job at a company like CDW, Tiger, PCM, Zones, Insight, or any other big hitter first. If you're an industry vet, look elsewhere. The compensation isn't worth it and it's next to impossible winning over all of your book of business. I can go on and on. The reality is, don't start working here unless you have to. Sales gets treated much better than any other role at this company but again, the comp does not outweigh the disadvantages.

Pros

Great Engineers who are some of the best in the nation.

Cons

Micromanage and false promises. They brag about how much money you can make but berate you if you want to be paid your worth in salary. Management has no direction and read your emails to see if you are working. They monitor your phone calls daily, even if you are a field rep. The managers also have a book of business, who will compete to steal business from their own team. Very cheap and distrustful. The management team encourages you to use illegal and underhanded tactics to won business, such as kick backs.

Pros

Was a decent company before new management changes.

Cons

Management makes promises of increases/promotions and never make good on their word. The medical/dental benefits are a joke. Management just looks out for themselves and don't care about the real people in the trenches. Schedule and job scope changes in a moments notice without any regard for the employee.
