Pros

Great mission, wonderful partners and some staff are incredible.

Cons

Horrible work culture and heinous management practices are completely antithetical to their outward feminist mission and ethos. It's laughable.

Toxic work environment based on favoritism and intimidation

Pros

Some employees have great opportunities. Most staff are smart, dedicated, and dynamic. Organization is very mission-driven.

Cons

Very little diversity. Leadership perpetuates atmosphere of intimidation and judgement with little recognition or encouragement for your work. Family leave and comp time are well below other human rights organizations. 7 staff have left within a year (1 let go). CEO has been Francoise Girard since 2012, not Adrienne Germaine.

Pros

Passionate and brilliant women on staff and in advocacy networks, high pay for a nonprofit

Cons

Problematic management - the org is feminist in its outward facing politics, but doesn't live up to ethical feminist leadership internally
