      Great perks Fun industry Convenient parking

      Cons

      I had no intention of leaving IAAPA, but it became a traumatizing place to work due to communications department mismanagement. I know many of my current and former colleagues feel the same way.

      Should be so much better than it is

      Pros

      Supports an amazing industry with dedicated, involved members.

      Cons

      Lack of support for female leaders. Terrible chiefs running the association. Unfair decisions regarding promotions and title changes; no rhyme or reason. Ridiculous org. chart. The strongest employees have been driven out.

      Talentless leadership

      Pros

      Potential is there for good things if senior management undergoes wholesale change. Senior management has demonstrated time after time that they are without talent.

      Cons

      Mid-level staff, for the most part, is very strong. Senior management is incredibly weak. Afraid of change and dishonest with staff.
