      Pros

      Worked as an engineer for this Japanese company for almost 6 years. I learned so much about problem solving, report-making, and cross-functional communication. What impressed me most was the emphasis on rationality, technical expertise, and valuing time and effort. The Japanese way of dealing with issues are very systematic and efficient so I'd highly recommend working with this team. Benefits include HMO (+ 2 dependents), meal and transportation allowance, leave credits convertible to cash, bonuses.

      Cons

      Long working hours making it difficult for work life balance. Salary was low at the time I was with them but it was already adjusted months before I left. Lack of retirement package

      Great Coworkers, Work-life balance. Fulfilling job assignments.

      Cons

      Managers sent from Japan on Visa with highest authority and they have no English Proficiency or the necessary competency to be a US Manager. These people are very Rude and they Harass for no reason. HR does nothing to stop them and they accuse you of having Communication barriers when its them. The IT department is horrible at their jobs and they are spread out between 4 continents. I have experience harassment from IT also.
