      Not what it's cracked up to be.

      Pros

      Incredible space, great benefits, free food! Worker community is committed and nice.

      Cons

      Mr. Gross' commitment to the idea of being a "parallel" entrepreneur means that virtually every butterfly gets chased - very difficult to stay focused on core strategy; small ideas are treated like large ideas; large ideas are nonexistent. Co has the reputation for chewing through managers - people get frustrated and leave because sr mgt behavior swings wildly between being totally unsupportive to micromanagement.

      - Awesome Culture - Tons of smart people - Exciting projects - Can learn tons of stuff

      Cons

      - Lack of discipline, maturity in the engineering process - Poor SDLC proce - Almost all of the ideas are Bill Gross's ideas. Need newer, fresh ideas.

      Lots of enthusiasm, in the beginning...

      Pros

      This place seems great, at least in the beginning. One of the first innovation tech incubators in Los Angeles, this place has seen its share of successes and failures. People are smart, cool startup environment (desks made of filing cabinets and halfcut doors), and lots of positivity.

      Cons

      It seems like employment here is a mix of a rotating door and musical chairs. People come and go, and come back again. Maybe the people move from job to job due to opportunities, but it basically seems things are always in constant motion. So if you like a place to be a little stable, this is not it. Also, in addition to the rotating doors, you never know who may end up working next to you, personality-wise.
