Pros

I’ve been at Ideon for a couple of months, but it’s already been an incredibly rewarding experience. Here’s what stands out: Growth Opportunities: It’s a lean and growing company, which means tons of room for both personal and professional growth. Exceptional Leadership: My boss is one of the smartest and kindest leaders I’ve ever worked with. Leadership as a whole doesn’t hesitate to roll up their sleeves, dive into challenges, and guide the team to a resolution. Customer-Centric Culture: The organization is proactive and laser-focused on customers. They understand areas for improvement and set clear, actionable objectives to address them. Impactful Role: My position is new to the company, and in a short time, I’ve already felt like I’ve made a positive difference. Amazing Benefits: The benefits are top-notch. Talented Team: My colleagues are intelligent and highly knowledgeable in the industry. Overall, this is a fantastic place to work if you want to grow, make an impact, and be part of a team that values its people and customers.

Cons

Every great company has areas of growth and opportunity. Ideon is on a mission to be the best in the industry. Small growing pains are natural and expected for a company that is in a unique market and/while balancing growth, customers and their people. Ideon has all of the quality ingredients (product/tech) and the right people to make Ideon a great place to work and delight their customers.

Pros

-Truly flexible hours: I came to Vericred (now Ideon) from a human services background, and although I was salaried, I would work 60+ hours per week under the ruse of "flexible hours". This job is totally different. I feel respected and treated like an adult who can manage her own time (imagine that!) -Management clearly cares about employee experiences & actively works to improve things based on suggestions in anonymous surveys. I haven't worked anywhere before that ACTUALLY followed through on employee suggestions. Comments I've left have been promptly responded to by the CTO. He's a busy guy, so mad respect for taking the time to respond to an employee way down the "food chain". -Good pay, could be better but the company is still kind of in its start-up days. They gave a company-wide salary increase for inflation a couple months ago. We do have optional happy hours on Fridays, but I like that the company doesn't have a "pizza party" vibe. You probably know what I mean. Management understands we don't care about that kind of stuff as much as just getting paid more. -100% paid medical & dental premiums.

Cons

This is a great fit for my preferences, but I could see the start up nature of the company getting to some people. There aren't all the processes in place that you'd probably find at a company that's been around for a lot longer. It's pretty cool to get to be part of creating those processes though, so if you like that kind of thing I'd definitely recommend you apply.
