Pros
Nothing! Literally NOTHING!!!! Ok, Maybe a little harsh, had a good field team. who were just as frustrated.
Cons
-The biggest problem is the owner Ramon. He is a brute who knows very little in people management. There was the strong whiff of cronyism, where you were considered for opportunities, not based on the quality of your work but on how fair your skin was and how far a brown noser you were willing to be. -The poor clients were milked constantly. Billing for things that were never done or actioned. -There was never any pay review even though you were meant to do significantly more outside your job scope. You managed, recruited, did payroll because, (you guessed it!) Ramon was solely intent on keeping every little money to himself and not properly compensating the army of worker ants that he had at his disposal - Mileage was paid at a joke 10p a mile (THAT IS NOT A TYPO) which meant you ended up paying Ignite for the luxury of working for them. - 90% of the management team were white (which in no way reflects the demographics of the country, even at the most generous estimate) when I started and was a robust 99% by the second year. - Managers are lazy, underpaid and therefore not vested.. Anyone who has a backbone or a spark of creativty or concern for the well being of their team members is quickly and quietly moved on. - You had arbitrary targets to hit which was more to satisfy unrealistic commitments to the client than it was to boost productivity or reflect the reality on the ground. - Deductions were rife, with the bonus system set up to ensure you never got what you were due. - It is a cut throat company where profits are the absolute bottom line. At the detriment of team cohesion or welfare. - The churn rate would be at a conservative 50% - 70%, which goes to show that they are unable to hold on to decent, motivated staff. - Ignite is where ambition, motivation and inividual progress comes to die! - Lastly, without a shred of bitterness (ok, maybe just a smidge) I would avoid working here if you had any other choice. As long as the current crop of senior management remain, I would not suggest Iginte to an enemy. (only if they REALLY upset me!) AVOID!!!!!!
