Pros
Innovative software solution for 3D facial animation for video games, feature film and medical fields. Enjoyed the flexibility to pursue new business opportunities in the video game sector... very supportive staff with the ability to perform tests for new clients. Strong interest to enter new fields.
Cons
Image Metrics is run by the VC's and the CEO was always having to report to the board. Board drove business strategies with a lack of true understanding of opportunities in the field. Lots of turn over of staff and resistance to explore more cost effective ways to deliver end product as it was a "service" based product that required a large production team that could easily take advantage of overseas outsourcing.
