Pros

joined IXP at a time when I was just starting my career, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. The company gave me my first break and an opportunity to learn a lot both in terms of professional skills and understanding how organizations function.

Cons

Looking back, I sometimes feel I could have waited a bit longer and found a better opportunity. When I joined, there were frequent delays in salary payments, which eventually stabilized after IXP was acquired by College Dekho. Unfortunately, that stability didn’t last long. the same issue of delayed salaries has now resurfaced. Many of my former colleagues have also shared that their full and final settlements are still pending, which raises serious concerns about the company’s financial management and employee treatment. In terms of leadership, the communication from the CEO/founder was often limited to vague motivational lines like “things are about to get better” or “just ignore the problems and keep working.” While it’s important to stay positive, this lack of transparency and tangible action made it difficult to stay motivated or trust the direction of the company. Since this is an EdTech organization, the counseling system also reflects a major concern. The counselors function primarily as salespeople. their primary goal is to convert leads into admissions, as they are heavily incentivized for conversions. this often comes at the cost of student suitability and genuine academic interest. Whether it’s a course in design, engineering, or management, students are enrolled without proper assessment of their aptitude or inclination for the subject. This lack of proper student screening creates a domino effect faculty members at partner universities end up struggling to teach students who lack the foundational interest or aptitude for their chosen programs. As a result, conflicts frequently arise within universities, and rather than addressing the root cause, the blame often falls unfairly on the faculty, labeling them as incompetent or ineffective.

Pros

ImaginXP is the worst lala company to work for, in India. As for new employees, they do not get them registered on EPFO, so a person is their employee and that person is yet not shown as an employee to govt/EPFO. As of old employees, they have been shown as an employee to EPFO, but their PFs are never credited to their account

Cons

Salaries are never on time, there is continuous harassment by HR and top management. Nepotism rocks here. My advice to all employees : Go and visit labour ministry's samadhan portal. If they are not giving you experience letter, not giving your salary on time or if they aren't clearing your FNF settlement, then file a complaint against them on labour ministry's samadhan portal. A labour commissioner level bureaucrat will then ensure that these frauds pay you all your remaining dues. I am sure this fraud company will become India's next Byju's
