A lot of unique and cool projects in the field of engineering - at least in Germany where I'm located.
Cons
Truly terrible management. I know this varies from department to department, but mine is just so bad. The tecnichal design office generally doesn't have good management. Tasks are not distributed in a way that makes sense (e.g. based on skill, etc.), but much rather on preference. The department manager is good at technicl skills, but a horrible manager. You don't get recognition for what you do, no matter how good/bad it is. bad communication too - there's also little transarency
