Pros

There are many great fellow employees working for the company that were a pleasure to work with. They do make great products. That’s where the positives END. Toxic management and company culture.

Cons

DO NOT BELIEVE many of the reviews on Glassdoor! They are plants from management. Management, manages by intimidation and fear. HR department in the inter-circle of management so it doesn’t do any good to go to them. It actually would make things worse, especially, if you were to complain about your supervisor. I thought I did a good job of vetting In The Ditch Towing Products, Inventive LLC., before applying. There are numerous videos by the owner and some are on the company’s great culture. Well, the owner is in TOTAL DENIAL and talks about what a great company and culture he is building. All the while, if the owner was to appear on Undercover Boss it would be a TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT for the company and himself. I really think that would be the only way for the terrible culture to ever change. To protect many employees, I can’t be to specific, YES, IT IS THAT BAD! Lets just say overall the employees don’t have a high opinion of the leadership at In The Ditch Towing Products, Inventive LLC. I thought the right thing to do would be to let others be WARNED before thinking of applying and not be deceived like MANY others. Many of the employees work daily under stress of intimidation and heavy-handed management. Training is some of the worst I have ever seen. I have done and taught training for years. Many warned me when I started to be ready for a ‘Sink or Swim’ approach, little to NO training. They were right on the money. Company culture, is terrible and repressive! All the while the owner talks about building a great company culture and he is in TOTAL DENIAL! Don’t be fooled! This is a company to avoid! Overall, the company has very HIGH turnover! That hasn’t and won’t make them change. Don’t make the mistake many others have, heavy-handed management, long commute and you will be looking for a new job shortly after you start!

Pros

A monday through friday job. good pay for this area

Cons

There is 0 respect for anyone who is not in Mr. Chucks close knit Circle. I have been working here for the past two years and have been looked over for countless opportunities. They claim that here and at in the ditch you have the option to grow, but in all reality you don't. One time during a morning meeting they were asking the employees here to give a positive review on here. The weld shop use to be a fun place to work with a awesome crew to work with But in the last month it has just gone down hill FAST. All chuck does is sits in his office with his fancy expensive liquor. If it wasn't for my wife and kids I would sit up straight and pull up my pants and say adios.

Pros

Newer machines in the shop. Good people for the most part. Easy commute from Boise. Sometimes you get to have fun.

Cons

No vacation time. No PTO. No sick days. Voluntary (read mandatory) leadership meetings. Voluntary (read mandatory) company lunches. 1950’s manufacturing mentality. If you aren’t liked, it’s common knowledge. Don’t question anything. Don’t suggest improvements. Be a “Yes” man. Don’t have ideas.
