Pros

Great opportunity to travel the world.

Cons

My experience at Inbenta was extremely disappointing. The company lacks a cohesive go-to-market strategy, which creates constant confusion and inefficiency across teams. There is little to no investment in marketing, and the absence of SDRs/BDRs puts unrealistic pressure on sales to generate pipeline without support. Leadership appears disconnected from the realities of the market and internal execution. Direction changes frequently, priorities are unclear, and there is no consistent vision that teams can align to. This leads to a reactive environment rather than a proactive one. From a product standpoint, the technology did not meet expectations. Positioning is often stronger than actual performance, which creates friction in sales cycles and erodes trust with prospects. The overall environment feels unstable, and decisions—including terminations—can come across as abrupt and lacking transparency.

Pros

The concept of the product sounds good on paper.

Cons

There is a fundamental disconnect between how this company markets its technology and what it actually delivers. Based on my experience, the platform is oversold, underdelivers, and lacks the maturity, scalability, and reliability that customers are led to expect. Sales and customer teams are pushed to position the technology as far more advanced and widely adopted than it is. Pipeline strength and customer counts are consistently overstated internally, which creates unrealistic expectations and puts employees in the position of having to defend a narrative that does not align with reality. From a customer perspective, the technology requires far more effort, customization, and workarounds than disclosed during the sales process. This contributes directly to frustration, poor adoption, and a very high churn rate. Many customers realize post-sale that the platform does not live up to the promises made, particularly around AI capabilities, automation, and ease of deployment. The Customer Account Management organization is poorly led and ineffective, which only worsens the technology gaps. Issues are reactive rather than strategic, and customers are often left managing limitations instead of seeing real value. There is no leadership, no transparency, and no accountability. Turnover is constant for a reason. Leadership is weak across the board. Sales leadership lacks credibility and accountability, and decision-making is inconsistent and biased. There is also a noticeable lack of professionalism and inclusivity, including behavior that many employees experience as sexist. High turnover is the norm, not the exception. Overall, this is not a company driven by product excellence, customer success, or integrity—only by optics and short-term revenue pressure. My advice for someone wanting to join Inbenta: If you value transparency, ethical selling, strong leadership, and a product you can confidently stand behind, you should think carefully before accepting an offer. This environment prioritizes optics over honesty, and many people leave quickly once that becomes clear.
