Pros

Benefits......Office looks nice... Can get great seats at Wrigley

Cons

Since their hiring of a new CEO in 12/14, the company has gone downhill. How can a firm hire an insurance executive that was out of work for years and expect any success in running a Broker/Dealer. He hires his own cronies. Mass firings the past 2 years. No upside in this place. All indications that the firm is to be sold. Not a career place anymore. Beware !!

Pros

The employee benefits and support personnel are exceptional. The facilities and offices are nice. The expense policy is fair and consistent with supporting business development.

Cons

Far too many to list. The organization is truly rudderless. The management is largely ineffectual and the CEO is a faux intellectual and ,simply put, a bad guy that has zero vision nor ability to appreciate talent. It is unfortunate because the firm has some talented people but nobody feels secure.

Pros

Small company feel while dealing in billions of dollars. They punch above their weight in many areas and it feels a bit like family to work there. The current executive team cleaned up some of the "bad apples" as far as some unprofessional behavior etc.

Cons

Currently the company seems a bit directionless and they are contracting. Expansion plans have, so far, failed.
