1-no bias in selection.No descrimanation of any kind..Army units are like family.Some the best in pay and perks(legal).Wide veriation in job profile,full of adventures.thrill of uniform.Learn style and sophistication.(Manners and ettiquettes)and in totality makes you and your family better citigen than others.

Cons

Tough working conditions,postings away from your place,many a times risk of serving in difficult terrain .promotion is limited.

A nice organization which helps an individual inculcate many good qualities. Give lots of new opportunities to travel around the country.

Cons

Poor senior leadership.The senior leadership in the organization are perceived to be pursuing personal agenda and career progression. It appears that the present lot of Senior Officers lack moral courage.
