Pros

Convenient downtown location close to Granville/Robson Street buses, and Granville/Yaletown train stations.

Cons

Bi-annual terminations, EXTREMELY high staff turnover, lack of job security, lack of career development, new CEO is all talk with limited experience, lack of internal promotion structure, unwillingness to promote from within, simplistic 'gamification' approach to employee management

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It is great to hear that you like our new location in Yaletown as this was one of our initial initiatives in improving our team member experience. We appreciate the other points that have been brought up here and have shared them with our leadership for further evaluation and discussion. As a growing brand, we value all our team members' input and therefore, we continue to encourage our team members to share any feedback and suggestions you may have directly to our Leadership Team or HR as we work together to make Indochino a better place.

Pros

- you can pay the rent - the heat works sometimes - free snacks (if you consider chips and pop snacks) - apple products/technology - New CEO makes an effort to say hello hello

Cons

- everything else: leadership (or lack thereof), small and cramped work space, overtime hours without compensation, unrealistic expectations and timelines, no work life balance, boring corporate events, no rewards or recognition, no career development, mediocre product, disconnect between corporate and retail, tacky lunches/treats provided for contrived office celebrations. If you are considering a job here you are either desperate or have not done enough research. Go to LinkedIn and view all past and current employees. Notice the average length of employment, much like the weather in Vancouver there's an obvious trend - no one survives this black hole of an employer and neither will you. The executive leadership makes it very clear that employees aren't valued as people and for their contributions. Employees are machines to be used, burnt out, and disposed of when all life and energy has been sucked out. There is no genuine effort made to get to know who their front line people are. HR is a complete and utter shame to the industry and the profession. The organization's turnover is extremely high and there is no engagement or job satisfaction. You would think those are important KPIs for "people and culture". There's a lot of gossip about everyone in the organization and to whomever is the friend of the week. No matter how hard you work or how many extra hours you put in you will never even hear a "thank you" instead they will ask you to sacrifice your health and well-being to give more. A lot of good people have come and gone and it says something when these reviews have pretty consistent insight.
