Pros
Good if you're starting your career in this underpaid SEO industry, you will learn from amazing manager, not all but few, very few, founders are polite and will hear to your ideas.
Cons
When I joined, everything about the company looked very positive, as it would for anyone new. But once I started working, the reality was very different. The company clearly values the interests of top management over actual skills and performance. I have seen managers and employees themselves complain about group heads being toxic, showing favouritism towards people they personally like or those who spend time with them on daily evening strolls, while others handle all the groundwork. The same people who do little to no actual work come back and take credit for the efforts of those who are actually executing, especially within the operations team. For other teams like HR, some individuals are more focused on gossip and have no sense of confidentiality, openly sharing information that should not be discussed. The product team has been working on a product for more than 3 years, yet there is still no clear direction, and even internally there is very little trust in what is being built. Nepotism is at its peak, while others remain underpaid, family members or close connections receive faster promotions and higher salaries with their resignation act. Appraisals and timelines are a joke here, moving at a tortoise pace. Last year, the group head even extended the appraisal deadline by a month just to protect a close associate and ensure they received an appraisal despite not contributing to the work. Sounds unethical? That’s the reality. And it doesn’t stop there the retention component in the salary structure is an even bigger joke which gets you stuck in your professional career financially. With lower pay also comes a lack of recognition. Even when you deliver strong results, senior stakeholders with little to no involvement step in to take full credit, often without even understanding the work done. Also, tea for everyone from machine while people in cabin gets tea from downstairs. See the toxic mindset even with small things.
