Pros

The only good thing was the initial benefits when I started. They were dropped for lesser benefits but management would tell you they’re great (laughable).

Cons

Where to start! There was no training at all other than watch two videos on how the poorly made applications work. Knowledge was kept to certain teams so you’d have to email or message asking for help, wait for that person to reply then wait even longer to sit in a meeting to get answer. There were meetings on top of meetings with more meetings where nothing gets done. The low level employee would essentially get talked at by someone who wasn’t their manager about how bad they’re doing. In the next meeting, they’ll be all chipper because upper management was there. I was yelled at for taking notes because a VP of who knows thought I wasn’t paying attention. This is the same person that complained about everything but never had any work to show for themselves. The one CEO was alright but the other was horrible - they know nothing about talking to their employees. Work life balance is “huge” but the only ones that got it were upper management and the ones that didn’t care about their jobs. Infinicept was too afraid to fire anyway due to bad performance and used layoffs as an excuse. My favorite thing is if you did something wrong or if management did not like it, you’d get an email from your manager, their manager and 5 others saying how bad you did. Its just like in Office Space with Peter and the TPS reports.

Worst job I’ve ever had

Pros

-coworkers were great people -work/life balance (I didn’t get to partake too much because I was always covering for my coworkers who were on pto but it looked nice)

Cons

I held off on writing this review as I thought I just needed time to get over it. This remains the worst job I ever had. -micro management -buggy software that was difficult to troubleshoot -requested training on different parts of the software countless times and this need was never met -had to document management behavior and turned over when I exited infinicept due to mistreatment and greater job opportunities that I was denied at infinicept -if you asked a question, my manager would reply very condescendingly, which was funny because things changed daily -promotions promised with zero follow through, my manager just dangled a carrot in front of me for months for my dream role, then I landed my dream role at my dream company and turned in my notice -processes changed with the wind -constant feedback meetings with your manager which turned into berating and it was never a 2 way street (when I left the company I was told they were working on making it more so a 2 way conversation. Felt very anxious and uncomfortable working here) -I was 1 of 3 PoC that had bad experiences with my manager that I know of (within a year we all quit and one quit with no notice) -one coworker had their dog named after a historic war figure, felt like the culture invited war mongers, very bizarre

Pros

Normal hours, plenty of jokes, supportive coworkers

Cons

There have been two layoffs recently, the last one much larger than the first. Many, many talented employees lost their jobs in the last round, and years of company knowledge went out the door. The layoffs were presented as a business necessity, but regardless of the justification, it's going to take a long time to rebuild trust and morale for those who remain. It's unclear what the future holds for the company.
